TGC focuses on ensuring each student is able to acquire and demonstrate discipline-specific knowledge, lifelong learning, thinking and problem-solving skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, intrapersonal skills, citizenship and global perspectives and digital literacy.
I, as Taylor's graduate must be adaptable to the changing, challenging and competitive working world and have the ability to tackle with new tasks.
It is important for students to develop these graduate capabilities and demonstrate those important capabilities through reflection. As shown in the diagram below, firstly, by mastering communication skills, students are able to communicate appropriately in various settings and modes. Besides that, by acquiring interpersonal skills, students are able to understand and mobilise the power of teamwork. Moreover, students are able to perform tasks which are related to the use of ICT and related technologies effectively through digital literacy. Lastly, Taylor's students are able to learn independently and be intellectually engaged while they are going through a lifelong learning process.
